A delightful small tavern table with an exceptionally nice carved skirt and top. The legs and stretcher are not pinned. Age appropriate foot wear on stretcher and knife marks on top.

Transferware, Creamware

Neoclassical transferware teapot, c. 1820, 11 " L x 4.5" W x 6" T

 

The pattern has cupid, putto, a lion, and a goat. The grapes and leaves earn this the name Bacchanalian Boys.


A chip and a shallow crack on base seem reasonable for a 200 year old piece of porcelain.

Rare Open Handle 2 Gallon Ovoid Crock (ca. 1820).  Cobalt blue slip floral decoration around handles and both sides.  Chip on upper rim and along base.
